(Physical Therapist Assistant Blue Marble)

My journey into the world of physical therapy was fueled by my lifelong passion for exercise and sports, which led me to pursue my education at Missouri Western State University. This experience not only equipped me with essential skills but also deepened my commitment to helping others achieve their highest potential through rehabilitation and therapy. I’ve been a Physical Therapy Assistant with over 12 years of experience in hospital and skilled rehab settings.

Blue Marble Neuro Outpatient fulfills a new adventure, working with developmentally disabled adults in group homes and adult day programs. This role allows me to connect with individuals on a deeper level, providing support and encouragement to work toward independence and an improved quality of life. I am inspired daily by the resilience and strength of my clients, and I am thrilled to play a part in their healing journeys.

I also have a background in Cardiac Electrophysiology Technology at the University of Kansas Health Systems. This experience ignited my passion for a holistic approach to therapy treatments, emphasizing the importance of considering the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—in my practice. I believe that physical therapy is not just about rehabilitation; it’s about empowering individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Outside of work, I am an avid crocheter and a passionate reader! I enjoy spending quality time grilling, fishing and camping with my family where we can connect with nature and create lasting memories.. My husband and our five children are my greatest joy.

I find fulfillment volunteering at my church as well. Each of these activities enriches my life and fuels my enthusiasm for both work and my personal passions. I am committed to and excited about fostering a supportive and empowering environment to make a positive impact on all my clients.
