I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center, building on my undergraduate studies in Exercise and Sports Science and English Literature from Rockhurst University. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including acute hospital care, inpatient and outpatient rehab, long term care and pelvic floor therapy.
After having a baby and going through pelvic floor physical therapy myself, I became passionate about educating and supporting women who have pelvic health issues. I take a holistic approach in diagnosing and treating the pelvic floor and core, looking at the whole body to develop a plan for healing with my patients. My mission is to support women of any age in their healing journey, providing personalized and compassionate care for pelvic floor and core conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction or pain, urinary incontinence, constipation, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and diastasis recti. I especially enjoy educating, empowering and walking with women through pregnancy, birth preparation and postpartum care.
I love working with our team of therapists at PWR PHYSIO because we specialize in a variety of conditions and skills that allow us to provide a holistic and team-oriented approach to care for our patients!
